Blair Castle and Estate Open Day – 12th April 2026
As you may, or may not, know, this year Calum’s Cabin have added dates for holiday stays in the beautiful Garden Cottage at Blair Estate, Ayrshire.
Blair Castle’s private gardens will be open for visitors – allowing them to walk around the beautiful, landscaped gardens which include a collection of trees dating back to the 18th century. The gardens are continually evolving with a wonderful collection of rhododendrons, magnolias and azaleas. April is a wonderful time to see the gardens.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities, including Calums Cabin.
We will have have a stall there, so please do come and see us and let us tell you more about our charity.
Where: Blair Castle & Estate, Dalry, Ayrshire, KA24 4ER
Open: Sunday 12th April 12:30pm – 4:30pm, admission £6, children free. Refreshments available. Plants for sale. Cash only. No dogs allowed.
Directions: Exit the A737 at the Highfield roundabout. Take the first exit towards Stewarton on the B707. Follow this road for 0.8 mile and then turn right onto Blair Road. Turn left to enter the estate at the north gates – KA24 4EL for your SatNav. There will be a one-way system in operation on the day for visitors.
