Volunteering

All volunteers or staff who record, handle or otherwise deal with confidential information including family details, staff, supporter or supplier information must ensure that such information remains confidential. All information processed by Calums Cabin must adhere to data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and volunteers must familiarise themselves with our local policies and procedures that support this legislation to ensure that they are acting within the law. A breach of confidentiality may be viewed as a breach of data protection legislation and our code of behaviour. I confirm that I have read the volunteering handbook and understand that I should abide by the guidance and information provided to me at all times. I understand that appointment as a volunteer will be subject to all the information in this application, including that relating to criminal convictions (if applicable), being complete and correct and that any false information given may invalidate this application or lead to a cessation of volunteering.
